A few days ago Jack Straw, a British MP and a former Foreign Secretary of the British Government, made a headline on the British Media. He said he urged moslem women to remove their veil to improve community relations.
His view draws supports and critiques from both side of the arguments. His supporters mainly are mainly pointing out that people using veil will distance themselves from other communities. This will strain community relations even further from the already cold relationship between community groups in the UK.
